The model varies estimated ad revenue by niche, format, and broad audience geography. It is narrower than YouTube’s own RPM, which also includes channel memberships, YouTube Premium, Super Chat, and Super Stickers. Sponsorships, taxes, and off-platform income are excluded too.
A views earnings estimate multiplies monthly views by an expected RPM (revenue per 1,000 views). RPM changes with niche, viewer location, season, monetized playbacks, and whether the views come from long-form videos or Shorts.
