A YouTube subscriber counter reads a channel's current subscriber total directly from the YouTube Data API and displays it in near real time. YouTube itself rounds public subscriber counts once a channel passes 1,000 subscribers — a channel showing 1.2M could be anywhere from 1,200,000 to 1,299,999 — so every public counter, including this one, reports the rounded figure Google exposes. Only the channel owner sees the exact number, in YouTube Studio. Counters matter because subscriber velocity is the clearest external signal of a channel's momentum: a channel adding 10,000 subscribers a week is on a very different trajectory from one adding 100, even if their totals look similar today. Creators use counters to watch competitors, track their own milestone progress toward the 1,000-subscriber Partner Program threshold, and produce milestone content. This tool also returns total channel views and video count, which together give you the average views per video — a far better health signal than subscriber count alone, because a channel with 500,000 subscribers averaging 2,000 views per video has an engagement problem no subscriber number will reveal.

The tool queries the YouTube Data API for the channel's current public subscriber count, total views, and video count.
Above 1,000 subscribers YouTube rounds the public number. The counter shows exactly what the API returns.
Divide total views by video count to see whether the audience actually watches, or just subscribed once and left.
